While $125 is better than $0, we still have a long way to go to reach our $25,000 mark. So, show the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent how proud you are of the Indianapolis Colts and that you support and care about the children they help daily. These kids deserve your support, so go on, give a little.
Go Colts!

This weekend is quite possibly the biggest match up in league history. Two teams with unbeaten records. Both teams bitter rivals. An undefeated record on the line. Who will come out on top?
Well, my pick is obviously the Colts, but here’s why. First of all, Peyton Manning is undoubtedly the greatest quarterback to play the game. Even with his touchdown record in pursuit by none other than Tom Brady, he is still one of the titans of the game. The Colts offense is also one of the leagues best. With multiple weapons at Manning’s beck and call, it’s really tough for an offense to know who to double up and who to leave in single coverage. Peyton Manning is also one only a few quarterbacks who can say they have spent very little time on the ground as well. With that said, our O-line is nearly unflappable.
Our defense is also one of the best in the league. Possibly the best defense the Patriots will have played this season. With Bob Sanders seemingly covering every inch of the field and Dwight Freeney eagerly anticipating his next sack, our defense has given up and average of 70 few rushing yards per game this season and our secondary has been able to take away the big play.
But, the Patriots still have their weapons too. They’re versatile on both sides of the ball and they are a smart team. They’ll do anything they can to confuse Manning on offense and get him off the field.
So, this game will be one for the history books, and you and I will be witnesses of this historic event.
So who will come out on top? I can say with a steady voice, the Colts, 38-21.
Go Colts!
(By the way, we have yet to see your donations come rolling in. Don’t think for a minute that it’s ok to wait until after the game this weekend to see if you want to give. Visit our donations page to join in the challenge and to give your donations to the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital.)

To those of you following the Jersey Challenge, we have been long awaiting the day when our site would finally have the ability to take online donations. Well, the wait is over. We have just launched the online donations page and it is ready and waiting to take your donations for the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent.
So what are you waiting for, go donate and show your support for the World Champion Indianapolis Colts and Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent by making a donation!

This weekend the Colts face the Carolina Panthers, a team the Colts haven’t played for 4 years. A team Peyton Manning has never beaten (0-4), and a team who has never hosted the Indianapolis Colts.
Suffice it to say, Carolina is an unfamiliar team, and one with decent players on both sides of the ball. So what’s your prediction? Do you think the Colts will win this one on the road, during a short week? Do you feel this could be the Colts first loss? Or will we go undefeated into quite possibly the biggest game of the season hosting New England at home? (By the way, I am calling the New England game the mid-season Superbowl.)
My pick is a win in Carolina, 28-14. What’s yours?
By the way, don’t forget to upload your photos to our Flickr Page where they will be viewable on JerseyChallenge.com.

JerseyChallenge.com has joined forces with Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent to raise money for this great cause. We’re excited to have the opportunity to work with such a great organization that helps children get healthy. Please check back soon to begin donating. We’re sorry it has taken so long to get online donations going, but they will be ready soon.

It’s been 15 days since the last Colts game and I’m ready to go. Plus it’s exciting to know that I have now been wearing the jersey for 47 days now! Other than shoes, I can’t say I have worn much of anything for 47 days, especially in a row.
We face a big match up tonight against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Not only are we fighting to stay on top of the AFC South Division, we are also fighting to remain undefeated. Winning tonight would put us at 6-0. It would also be a great way to come off of a bye week, looking strong and imposing. Our defense will be ready to go. Our offense should be healthy too. It looks like we will have Harrison back, and of course, Bob Sanders and Joseph Addai.
The implications of this game are huge for the Colts, remain undefeated, prove to the Jags that last years end of season win was a fluke and prove that we are truly one of the dominating teams in the league. Plus, it will add another week of jersey wearin’ fun for this Colts fan.
Enjoy the game, let me know your reactions and join us in the challenge to raise money for Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent.

First off, how great is it to now be 5-0?! This past weekend was full of great games, most of which determined by great defensive efforts. The Colt’s Buccaneers game was no different. Despite many injuries on both sides of the ball, the Colts were able to have a phenomenal offensive game as well as a great defensive game. Even without Joseph Addai or Marvin Harrison, Peyton was still able to find receivers and get our backup running back, Kenton Keith, 120 rushing yards. That’s pretty remarkable, but it’s to be expected. And our defense stepped up too with Rob Morris out for the season and Bob Sanders out for the day. Everyone knew their position and played it about as well as we could want or expect. And, to win going into a bye week will be great for the team and will hopefully give some of our key injured players the recovery time they need to be back in full force when we play another AFC South rival, Jacksonville. And for me, this means two more weeks of jersey wearin’ fun.
Which leads me into my topic for the day. While I have been wearing this beautiful jersey for 35 days straight, there are still a good number of people who still wonder if it “stinks”. Well, to clear this up, once and for all, I will reiterate, I do wash the jersey every 2 or 3 days, and I don’t wear it to sleep, or shower in it, or anything like that. I still have to be respectful to my clients and my coworkers so that I am presentable each and every day. That said, it is still a good challenge to have the wear the same exact thing every day. You can’t even imagine the looks I get.
So, until next time, go Colts. And, by the way, unfortunately we are not going to be raising money now for the PeyBack Foundation, but we will be raising money for the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent. Once all of the paperwork goes through, we will be launching the donation portion of the site so you can begin to support another great cause!
Have fun this week, and let’s hope New England loses.

20 days of jersey wearing have now elapsed in this great little challenge of ours. Nothing to it. It has actually been a lot of fun wearing this jersey, telling people about it and then running into people who say things like, “Glad to see you’re still wearing the jersey!” and “Do you wash it in cold water to make sure it doesn’t fade?” The comments are great and hopefully more people will begin to recognize what’s going on.
We’re currently working on the promotions part of this project which will include numerous press releases as well as hopefully posters and billboards. We’re looking forward to interviews and all the press that comes with this sort of craziness. But, as you can see, the first phase of JerseyChallenge.com is complete. We have successfully launched the full site, however, we don’t yet have the online donations portion of the site live yet. Keep checking back to see how that’s going. But, we are out looking for sponsors now too. So hopefully we will have more than one sponsor as the season wears on.
The Colts, of course, have won again and this is exciting for us and for the city. We’re getting to see history in the making. I am hoping in more ways than one. Each week we get better and each week we find new things we need to be working on. Special teams is one area that we must get better at to avoid returns like the one in last week’s game that led to a touchdown. Fortunately we have a strong offense that can quickly recover the points and a defense that can now hold off our opponents to increase our lead by allowing fewer yards and subsequently fewer points.
We’re looking forward to the weeks ahead and to seeing this great city becoming involved in raising money for the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent.
Until next time, GO COLTS!

Well the Colts are now 2-0 after a nail biting win over Tennessee last weekend. I must say, I pray a lot, but this game, I prayed for a miracle to stop Tennessee at the end of the game. Looks like the big guy came through again. Of course, does He really care about the Colts? I think He cares about what we care about. But let’s not turn this post into some sort of theology lesson.
I have been wearing this jersey now for 16 days straight. It’s actually been really great! Get up, shower, put on the jersey, go to work. Never thought I would like wearing a uniform to work, but it isn’t too bad. It has become apparent, however, that places I frequent are beginning to get this look on their faces like, “didn’t he wear that 2 days ago,” or “hasn’t he worn that a lot the past few weeks?” Well, the answer, of course, is “YES”. But that’s the real fun behind this Jersey Challenge. I get to make people think twice when they see me and I get to tell them all about why I haven’t changed my shirt in more than 2 weeks. As long as the Indianapolis Colts win, I get to continue telling people all about it.
Now, we are just a few days away from launching the full version of JerseyChallenge.com. which will feature a Flickr group specifically focused on gathering your photos of you prancing around in a Colts jersey, tailgating, watching the games, or just plain being crazy about the Colts. You can visit our Flickr Group and begin uploading your photos to it. Every photo you upload to our group will show up on JerseyChallenge.com. The site will also begin taking your donation to the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent. We are going to try to raise $25,000 by the end of the season, regardless if the Colts continue on undefeated or not. We think we can raise more than that, but we have to start somewhere. We will begin taking donations starting at $1 and going up from there. Donate whatever your heart desires. After you have donated, we will list your name among all of the other supporters on our site. You’re making a commitment and we feel you should be honored for that.
We have also received our first sponsor for our site. DesignedWritePR (317-736-6885) has joined as one of our $1000 sponsors and will be featured on the site. They will also be helping us write and distribute our press releases so we can get more people involved and hopefully more sponsors on board. So, if you are a business and want to get behind something good, or just want to get some publicity, check out our sponsor page to find out the different levels and how you can become one of our sponsors. All sponsor money goes to help us promote this challenge in any way possible so we can get more donors and reach our $25,000 goal, or more.
We’ll let you know as soon as our site is officially launched. We hope you can join JerseyChallenge.com. We look forward to it.
